Ear and Jet
I don't usually draw people so this was quite a bit of fun and a challenge. I don't think I did a great job but that's just because I haven't done it much. I don't know why exactly I don't find drawing people that interesting. Maybe it's just because I'm not very good at it.

BreakTime
I really love both of these guys. Especially the goat like character. I want to explore that look some more. Thanksgiving break begins today. Hurray. I'm going to catch up.
Last night I saw Twilight, it was pretty bad but I really enjoyed it. I was with a pretty rambunctious crowd which made it alot better for us but probably not anyone else in the theater.

Building G
F 'n Ogre(hehhehehe)
So I ended giving my presentation on Photography. I totally skipped all of that what does seeing stuff in nature mean. It went pretty well although I'm always a little(very) nervous when public speaking. The bottom picture is a continuation of letter buildings/shapes that I have been working on for a while. "F" was a really hard one but I'm finally happy with this and especially the well defined shapes on the top part of the "F"

I'm fasting during the light hours
I wonder why we see shapes in the clouds. Mountains faces, sheep and other animals are what I usually see. I see animals more often then vegetables and other non-sentient beings. I'm not really sure why this is the case. I see various symbols and letters in nature. I want to say that this is an example of humans putting their characteristics onto something unfamiliar to them but it doesn't really seem like the truth. I dunno. I need to talk this out with someone.

Robot and grit
Yeah, I'm on time too bad I'm such a bad student and haven't done any homework. It'll be even worse next semester when I will be taking an art class. Visual basics. I hope I like it or I might not be an art major anymore. I have no idea what else would be my major. Maybe I'll bring coffee to people working at Pixar and draw characters on the cups and eventually get hired. That would be pretty sweet.

Weird
Ceramic Explosion
I broke a plate today in the sub when I was at the salad bar. I meant to push it along the counter next to the salad bar but instead it went off. Sheer horror. Food and shards of plate went crusing across the floor. Everyone looked and I'm pretty sure I turned red. It was super embarrasing. I had hoped this wouldn't happen to me every. Sad. I guess it's out of the way now

Anthropormorphism(sp)
I rather like both of these pieces. I worked with blurring in the elephant drawing which came out well. I think.
On a hike up towards Mt. Rainier a few weeks ago our class was asked to write about whatever came to our heads. I had noticed what looked like writing in the side of Rainier. It was just shadows and rocks yet it looked strikingly like writing. The letters spelled something like "A CHOP", "I  HP", something along those lines. The point is I interpreted it to mean something. I humanized something that most people, those who doubt government conspiracies and supernatural graffiti, would say is not mean anything. Maybe the pattern in the rocks of Rainier do tell a story but I don't assume I would be able to understand it. I'm supposed to write a paper on this and I'm not really sure what I'm going to say.

3!!!
I've spent a great deal of time looking through some of the many artist blogs here on blogspot. I'm quite impressed and inspired. I don't know how I'll every be that good. It seems so far away. Maybe doing more real life drawings will get me closer to that level of realism. Unfortunately I'm never inspired to draw from real life. I'll have to work on that. It could work out that when I can't think of anything else to draw from my mind I'll just draw what's around me.
I particularly like drawing hearts in landscapes and romantic drawings in general. They're just fun and comforting in a way.
