Poor dragon looks sad. Annoying how I didn't mean it to look that way. Oh well. Another day another two drawings. YES!

Those eyes

This is hilarious. I think I could have a more powerful effect if I used a girttier image but this makes me pretty happy as is. I will try again.

Two sketches for today. I've been doing pretty well so far two days and four sketches or so. I've been thinking about what defines a friend for me for the past few days. I haven't come up with anything definitive yet. Friends seem more then  someone you just say "hi" and "how are you doing" to. Maybe having deep conversations or going through some particular experience creates deeper friendships. When I was young having someone over seemed to expose if they were or would become good friends of mine. In college I'm not sure how to define my friends or create meaningful relationships.

Vader looking

I'm very happy with the head darth Vader looking guy but not so happy with the landscape

I don't think I did my best on either of these drawings. Sad. Oh well better another day.

I just need to keep sketching and it should get easier and faster

I think I may have put too much detail in both the clouds and the foreground.

I love waterfalls. I don't ever really have much to say about my drawings. They just sort of are there. The idea behind them was lost while I drew them. They were supposed to be simple color landscapes with an emphasis on using custom brushes but that didn't really work out. Anyways hope whoever looks at this blog enjoys these.

Ship crawling

New to blogger thought I'd join to put up sketches. This sketch is some sort of ship/critter. I need to develop the look more but so far it makes me happy.

The bloody/rusty guy is a pretty typical sketch for me.
